Warranty, returns and refunds

MR J Engines provides a 12-month warranty, subject to the written warranty conditions on the final invoice and correct professional installation. The exact coverage for each product is disclosed before payment.

Return window

Report an incorrect, incomplete or visibly damaged delivery within 48 hours. An unused product may be requested for return within 7 calendar days of delivery. Products that have been installed, modified, stripped, opened or had identifying marks removed cannot be accepted as an ordinary return and will be assessed under the written warranty instead.

How to request a return

Contact +27 78 276 6112 with the order reference, reason for return, photographs, delivery paperwork and professional installation records where applicable. Keep the packaging and all identifying marks. Written return authorization is required before sending an item to 85 Brickhill Road, North Beach, Durban, 4001.

Return costs and refunds

MR J Engines pays reasonable return freight where the supplied item is confirmed incorrect or damaged on delivery. The customer pays return freight where the return results from changed requirements or incorrect vehicle information supplied by the customer. Approved refunds are made to the original bank account within 7 business days after the returned unit has been received and inspected. Original delivery charges are refunded only where MR J Engines supplied the incorrect item or the item arrived damaged.

Installation and warranty requirements

Installation must be performed by a qualified mechanic. The cause of the original failure, cooling system, lubrication system, turbocharger, fuel system and related components must be checked before fitting a replacement unit. Installation and service invoices may be required for a warranty claim.
